About Southwest Band
New members are always welcome in the BVSW Band! Each year, we are excited to welcome students who are new to Blue Valley Southwest, whether they are moving into our attendance area or transferring from another school. We take pride in creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every student can feel at home.
If your student will be enrolling at Blue Valley Southwest, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible. Our student leaders will reach out before your student's first day to answer questions, make introductions, and help them feel welcomed and connected before they walk through the doors.

How to Enroll in Band at BVSW
If you are considering being a part of the BVSW Band please follow the instructions below so we can start your enrollment process.

- Send an email to the Director of Bands, Mr. Banks
- In your email please include your phone number, grade, instrument(s) that you play or color guard
- Call the band office with any questions 913-624-2112
- Let the registrar at BVSW know that you want to be enrolled in band
- Go to the Calendar to review the band schedule
