Butter Braids (October/November)

Butter Braid® pastry contains a mouthwatering filling like tart apple, warm cinnamon, or smooth cream cheese. These fillings are laid atop the dough and wrapped up as the caring makers of Butter Braid® pastries hand-braid the dough sealing in the filling. Charlie's Car Wash (MAy)

BVSW Bands partners with Charlie's Car Wash each year. Supporters can head to any of their locations in KS, MO and OK for a car wash during a one week time-frame and a portion of your wash cost goes back to the Band. You can also purchase Wash eGifts that don't expire, no purchase limit, and you may gift! Sharing Charlie's flyers digitally or in print form with friends and family increases our traffic and our profits! Nearest locations for BVSW families are 15061 Metcalf, OP and 13512 S Black Bob, Olathe.

SchoolFundr (MAY)

Our Schoolfundr campaign is an easy way to support the Southwest Band. Every contribution goes directly toward enhancing the experience of our student musicians by helping fund equipment, performances, and program needs. We are currently fundraising for a new trailer for marching competitions. Thank you for your support!

Fundraising and Band Fees
Each year the Boosters help organize several different opportunities for your student and the band to fundraise. All families and students are encouraged to participate in fundraising efforts. Why do we fundraise and pay fees? We pay dues to cover incidental costs including buses, props, food for students, and any unexpected expenses that arise throughout the year. We also fundraise to maintain our level of operations into the next year to help keep band fees as low as possible. What do Band Fees include? Band fees include: band camp, clinicians, equipment, leadership development, marching drill design and music, marching contest entry fees, marching show t-shirts, uniforms, alterations and cleaning, food and transportation to competitions, 8th grade outreach, senior events, and much more! |
