Hello band parents! Here’s your handy ‘next week in band’ email. Please pay special attention to those items highlighted as they are outside the norm.
NEXT BOOSTER MEETING: TBA
WORD FROM MR. LESANDO AND MISS BOCK
Thank you all for your amazing appreciation for the band over the last few weeks. Ms. Bock and I have been impressed and proud of the work that our members have put in to make this show come alive. The perception of our program and my mantra of marching band continues to be “Let the performance speak for itself.” Our recent performances have brought a lot of positive attention to our program from the community and in our region. Laura and I cannot thank you enough for the continued support and the support you give your students. We will hopefully see you at one of our last remaining performances for the season and when you see the Emerald Regiment enter the field, GO WILD!!! We hope you enjoyed the 2018 production “Fireborn!”
A WORD FROM OUR AMAZING COLOR GUARD
It’s time to pre-order your holiday wreaths, door sprays, centerpieces and tabletop trees. Instead of getting them somewhere else, please consider ordering from the Color Guard and support this great fundraiser. See what is available on this Flyer Page 1 and Page 2. There is also the opportunity to direct ship some of the items as gifts across the country or use them as business client gifts. Please connect with one of the Color Guard for more information or email Dana Gonnerman. Orders due October 24. Items will be delivered to you Nov16-24, just in time for Thanksgiving. Direct shipped items will ship between Nov 16 and Dec 8.
A WORD FROM YOUR BVSW BAND BOARD MEMBERS AND COMMITTEE CHAIRS
Our Go Fund Me drive is off to a great start. Please copy this link and send to your family and friends and be sure to thank them, from all the band families, for their support. BOA GoFundMe!
The props are done and we are ready to go! If you plan on being at the show, please stop by the Hospitality Tent and let us know if you can help move props and equipment to the field. It will be an "all-hands-on-deck" event as we get used to what all needs to be done.
We need lots of hands to make marching competitions successful. Here are just a few links you can go to help out! All competitions are included so if you can’t attend one, select the one or several you can attend. We have 120 band members. We need to have volunteer participation from everyone!
